Are my files uploaded or stored anywhere?No. The tools run entirely in your browser (client-side); files never leave your device. Close the tab to clear working data, or clear your browser’s site data for a full reset.
Does SimpleToolsHub track me or use cookies?Tool inputs aren’t collected. We use Google Analytics and Google AdSense for basic stats and ads, which may set cookies. You can manage or clear cookies in your browser at any time.
Is there any watermark or usage restriction on outputs?No watermarks—your exports are yours to use. For legally regulated cases (e.g., signatures, retail barcodes/QR), follow local rules and test before production use.
What are the file size limits?There’s no server-side limit because everything is local. Practical limits depend on your device RAM and browser. For very large jobs, reduce quality/scale, split into batches, or use a desktop browser.
Can I use the tools offline?Yes—after a tool loads, it generally continues to work offline. Reloading while offline may fail if the page or libraries aren’t cached by your browser.
Which browsers and devices are supported?Latest Chrome, Edge, Brave, Firefox, and Safari are supported. Mobile works, but heavy tasks (large PDFs/PowerPoints or big image batches) are faster on desktop. Internet Explorer isn’t supported.
Can I batch-process and download everything as a ZIP?Yes. Many tools support multi-file/batch processing and a one-click “Download All as ZIP.” For very large sets, process in smaller groups.
Why do my PDF or image exports look different from the original?Missing fonts, very large pages, or CORS-blocked images can change results. Try a tool’s safe/raster mode, reduce scale/quality, or split the file into parts.
Do tools keep EXIF/ICC or document metadata?Browser re-encoding typically strips EXIF/ICC metadata. Use the PDF Metadata Scrubber to remove document info; if you must preserve metadata, consider dedicated desktop software.
Why did my download fail or save a blank file?This can happen on low-memory devices or when the tab is backgrounded. Keep the tab active during export, close heavy tabs, and try a desktop browser if possible.
Is there an API or desktop app?Not at the moment. If you need automation or bulk workflows, tell us about your use case—feature priority is driven by user feedback.
What are the rules and disclaimers?Tools are provided “as is” without warranties; accuracy/availability aren’t guaranteed, and you’re responsible for your inputs and outputs. Don’t use the site for illegal or harmful activity, and avoid sensitive content.
