How to upload a custom guild emblem in MapleStory

  1. Make the image. Upload a picture or draw one above — the tool fits it to 17×17 pixels.
  2. Download it. Click Download PNG to save emblem.png (or grab a ready-made design).
  3. Open your guild. In MapleStory, open the guild window and go to the guild emblem option.
  4. Choose a custom image. Pick the custom emblem upload and select emblem.png; the preview shows how it will look.
  5. Confirm. Confirm to spend 225,000 GP. The emblem appears in guild windows and beside the guild name under each member's name.

Custom emblems need a guild of level 10 or higher and cost 225,000 GP (a preset emblem is 150,000 GP). Only the guild master and members given the permission can change the emblem. Menu names can shift between patches — look for the emblem option in the guild window.

Emblem upload rejected? Common fixes

  • "Size does not match." Nexon only accepts exactly 17×17 pixels. Files from this tool are always that size; images resized in other apps often come out 16 or 18 pixels.
  • Transparent areas look grey or white. Nexon doesn't document whether PNG transparency is kept, and players report a checkerboard in the preview. To be safe, fill the background: turn off Transparent in the editor and pick a colour before downloading.
  • Costs GP every time. Each upload is a new purchase — even switching back to an emblem you used before. Check the preview carefully before you confirm.
  • Emblem removed later. Inappropriate images are removed after reports, with no GP refund.
