FAQ: PPTX to PDF / Images (Browser-Only)
Is this PPTX to PDF converter private and secure?
Yes. Everything runs in your browser — no uploads, no servers, no tracking. Your file never leaves your device.
What’s the difference between Vector and Safe Mode?
Vector tries to keep text/shapes as vector for smaller, sharper PDFs and faster exports. Safe Mode rasterizes each slide and disables fragile effects for maximum compatibility with complex decks.
My export fails on some slides — what should I try?
Switch to Safe Mode and set Rendering scale = 1×. If that works, increase scale gradually for more sharpness.
</details class="exp-box">Can I choose printable page sizes like A4 or Letter?
Yes. Pick a page size for PDFs; “Same as slide” matches your slide dimensions automatically and orients pages to landscape/portrait per slide.
Will the PDF be searchable/selectable?
In Vector mode: often yes (when slide content is vector). In Safe Mode: pages are images, so text isn’t selectable.
</details class="exp-box">PNG vs JPEG — which should I pick for images?
PNG is lossless and best for text/graphics. JPEG is smaller and good for photos; the tool uses an optimal quality value.
How do I increase output sharpness?
Raise the Rendering scale (e.g., 1.5× or 2×). Note: higher scale increases processing time, memory use, and file sizes.
Do animations, videos, or audio export?
No. PowerPoint animations/media aren’t exported. Slides are exported as visual snapshots of their final layout.
What about charts, SmartArt, and custom fonts?
Most charts/SmartArt render correctly. Custom fonts must be installed on your system or substituted by the browser. Safe Mode helps with tricky slides.
Are there file size or page limits?
Large decks and high scales can be heavy. The tool clamps canvas size for stability; extremely large decks may take longer or produce big files.
Which browsers are supported?
Modern Chromium, Firefox, and Safari. Keep your browser updated for best results and performance.
Can I use this on mobile?
Yes, but large presentations convert faster on desktop. The UI is responsive and touch-friendly.
